This is the 1800s, the second part of American history on the 2025 civics test. It covers westward expansion, the Civil War and the end of slavery, and the early fight for equal rights. Let us go through them. What territory did the United States buy from France in 1803?

The Louisiana Territory. Name one war fought by the United States in the 1800s. The War of 1812, the Mexican American War, the Civil War, or the Spanish American War. Name the United States War between the north and the south.
