Duration measures the time from the onset to the offset of each episode, so it is the only one of these measures that can detect episodes getting shorter while their number stays the same. 4. An RBT writes "hand raising: 12" on the data sheet but does not record how long the observation lasted. Why is this a problem?

Reporting the raw count of 20 skips the unit conversion, and 0.5 is the per-minute figure rather than the per-hour figure.

17. During one session a client had 4 tantrum episodes and the recorded durations totalled 12 minutes. What is the mean duration per episode?
