Technology & IT Certifications
Prepare for IT and project management certifications like CompTIA Security+, PMP, and CAPM.
IT certifications open the door to well-paid technology careers, and the exams reward focused practice on the official objectives. These question banks mirror the certification blueprints — threats, architecture, operations — with an explanation for every answer.
Every question is available in English, Chinese, and Spanish, so you can master the concepts in your strongest language before sitting the English-language exam.
CompTIA exams mix standard multiple-choice with performance-based questions that simulate real configuration tasks, so hands-on practice matters alongside question drilling. Certifications also expire — Security+ renews on a three-year cycle through continuing education or retesting — and many government and defense roles list it as a hard requirement, which keeps demand steady.
Project management credentials sit here too. The PMP and the entry-level CAPM are awarded by PMI and test how projects are actually run — lifecycles and process groups, predictive and agile delivery, risk and quality, and the business analysis work that decides whether the right thing is being built at all. They differ mainly in what they ask of you up front: the PMP expects documented experience leading projects, while the CAPM is reachable before that experience exists, which makes it the usual first step for career changers and for coordinators and analysts who keep being handed project work.
Most IT careers follow a ladder, and the certifications mark its rungs. A+ validates the hardware, operating system, and troubleshooting knowledge of help-desk and field-support work; Network+ covers the routing, addressing, and protocol fluency of network administration; Security+ certifies the baseline a security analyst needs across threats, cryptography, and identity management. Hiring managers use these vendor-neutral credentials as a screening shorthand because they test a common body of knowledge rather than one product line. Alongside them, a newer track has appeared: AI platform certifications, which do for building on large language models what the CompTIA series did for infrastructure — give employers a portable, testable signal of competence.
Choosing among the nine banks here comes down to which layer of the stack you work in. If you fix machines and support users, start with the A+ bank; if you run the network those machines sit on, Network+; if you defend it, Security+ — and the three genuinely build on each other, so the conventional order exists for a reason. The PMP and CAPM banks serve people who deliver projects rather than systems. The four Claude AI banks follow that certification family's published levels: Associate for working fluency with the models, Developer for engineers building against the API, and the two Architect tiers — Foundations and Professional — for designing whole AI systems.
Technology exam questions have a house style worth training for deliberately. Many stems end in BEST, FIRST, or MOST likely, which means several options are defensible and the test wants the one an experienced practitioner would reach for — a discrimination you build by reading explanations for the near-miss answers, not just the correct ones. Acronym density is the other hurdle: port numbers, protocol names, and framework terms have to be automatic before exam day, because decoding them mid-question burns time. Drilling one domain pool at a time builds that automaticity where you lack it, and finishing with timed mocks teaches the triage habit — answer, flag, move on — that multiple-choice pacing demands.
